The Key to Feeling Better Now

If you’ve been following me or read my other content, you’ll know that the key to permanent change is rewriting and consciously choosing our inner narrative. That’s a big undertaking, but I’m here to give you a starting point.

When coaching clients, I’m encouraging them to become more aware of the driving forces and stories that keep them stuck in old patterns (that make them feel like crap and clearly need to go)! Even the question of, “so, who taught you this?” can be a powerful way to realize that many of these stories are not truths, but rather patterns that have been taught or handed down to us.

I want to help you with your personal stories that are holding you back and preventing you from changing. They need to be brought to the surface so that they can be released.

To finish the story, we need to start at the beginning.

Journal Prompts

  • What was the food culture in my house growing up?
  • What beliefs have been handed down to me?
  • What do I want to heal so I don’t pass it down the next generation or continue to live the pattern myself?
  • Who needs to be forgiven?
  • What’s the new story I want to tell?

I hope this helps you start getting to the root of what perceived “truths” are keeping you stuck, and gives you the self compassion to see how much of what drives us isn’t even “us” to begin with.
